You Can Help Deborah

For those not be able to attend the LeWOW Night of Jazz with Earl Klugh, Boney James and Mindi Abair on April, 26 in Atlanta to benefit smooth jazz's "godmother," Deborah Lewow, and Emory University's ALS clinic, please feel good about the fact that there is another way to help: donate using paypal and by check.

Make checks payable to "Deborah's To Do List" and the funds will go to help pay for quarterly medical visits; van rental /purchase; ramps; widening doorways; handicap bathroom facilities; and in-home nurse care. A joint bank account with Deborah and her care giver at her bank, Sun Trust, has been established. If you would like to make a donation please mail checks to: Deborah's To Do List, 1456 Arnold Dr., Lawrenceville, GA  30043

The second option for donating is paypal via a donation link that puts money directly into Deborah's paypal account. This way you can use a credit card. Here is the link:   https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=ZV8KY6N2CLUK6.

Artists are stepping up. Larry Carlton, for example, ordered a new Gibson ES 335 guitar like the one he plays, which he signed and donated for auction in order to support Deborah. Way to be, Larry.

Lee Ritenour weighs in: "I am so happy and pleased to see the response for Deborah's big night out. This special lady deserves all the attributes and assistance that her friends and fans can give right now. I know we all feel the same way about her. Most of us have known her for a very long time. As an artist, she has helped me immeasurably over the years, starting with the earliest days of GRP & continuing with Warner Bros. and then independently. She always has an amazing effect on the radio programmers for all of her artists. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend or perform at the upcoming party, but of course, I plan to make a contribution. I'm sure it's going to be one hell of a great party and Deborah, as usual, will shine!"

Gerald Albright e-mails: "On behalf of the Albright Family, we thank you so very much for your undying love, tenacity, and support of the music that we perpetually cherish ourselves, and we thank you for your friendship. You have touched our lives for many seasons, and we pray that God and his Angels will heal your every challenge at this moment.
"We wish that we could attend the event, but in our absence, we will make our donation. And we will also continue to consistently lift you up in prayer and celebrate you as one of God's special creations. All the best to you, and major props for all of the people who love you, and are coming together in support of what's necessary in this time of need. We love you D!!!!!!!

Kirk Whalum writes: "Blessings of Peace in this storm to you my dear Deborah, I'm grateful for all that you've done for me (and all of us) to bring our music to a much larger audience. We owe you a great debt.  I know your big strapping lad (!) is taking good care of you, but know that Ruby and I are on your prayer team as well. If it's OK I'll leave the following prayer from my heart:
